The revived Djouce H'cap (organised by 3ROC and friends) will take
place on the usual 8km Earls' Drive trail around Djouce woods on Tue Dec
27. Starting 11am (or slighty earlier if you think you'll take longer
than an hour).
Format is countdown handicap; we start the countdown clock with the
slowest starter. You start when you want, ie, if you think you'll run it
in 40 mins 12 secs, then you set off when the count-down reaches that
time.
The person to cross the line when the time runs out (or immediately
after) is the winner. If we have enough helpers, we'll record finish
times. There is also be a 5km fun run for children (11am).
Sign on that morning; non-IMRA members won't have to pay the annual reg
fee. No entry fee required, but Wicklow Hospice (via Bill Porter) may
come along and make a collection. Plus you are welcome to bring a prize.
Prizegiving in the car park, with the winner getting first choice; Glencormac Inn after (tbc).
